After a few days of solid paddling and a few extra adventures yesterday, I decided to sleep in today. By the time I was ready to get up, the tide had turned and exit from the channel I'm in would be impossible until 3:00 pm or so. I decided to take a rest day.This is a long weekend in British Columbia and lots of people are out fishing near my camp. A couple boats stopped in. I haven't heard much news lately, but everyone is abuzz about a grizzly beheading on a bus in Manitoba. Can that really be the most important news of the last several weeks?
